Prayer to Seek God

Lord God,

I seek You with all my heart.

More than answers, I desire Your presence.

Reveal Yourself to me, guide my steps, and strengthen my faith.

May I find You in every detail and learn to trust in You.

In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Amen.

Lord God,

If the Lord truly exists, I want to know You.

I don't know how to pray properly.

I don't know what words to use.

But there's an emptiness inside me.

I have questions.

I have doubts.

I'm afraid of being alone.

If the Lord hears me,

come closer to me.

Show Yourself in a way that I can understand.

Guide my steps.

Calm my heart.

And teach me the path of truth.

I don't want religion.

I want to know who the Lord is.

Be patient with me.

Walk with me.

And, little by little, reveal Yourself to me.

In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Prayer of One Who Desires to Know God

Prayer of Seeking God for the First Time

Dear God

I still don't know who the Lord is.

Perhaps I've never spoken like this before.

Even so, I am here.

There are questions within me.

There is a weariness I cannot explain.

And a sincere desire to find something greater.

If the Lord exists and hears me,

touch my heart.

Open my eyes to the truth.

I need direction. I need peace.

I need to understand many things in this life.

I have no beautiful words.

I have no firm certainties.

I only have an open heart.

If the Lord can,

Show me the way, step by step.

That I may learn to trust.

That I may learn to listen.

That I may no longer walk alone.

Today, I take the first step.

Even with fear.

Even without knowing everything.
